I stayed a few days at Sunset Marina. We came in late in the night and tied up on a dock they owned and in the morning I went to the office and they gave me a much better dock to tie up to. The amenities were above average and the service was fast and friendly.

The marina is primarily filled with sport fishing boats but they can accommodate sailboats. The fuel dock is easily accessible and they offer a good variety of parts at the ship’s store and have qualified mechanics on hand.

The Sunset Marina offers two swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, on-site laundry facilities, restrooms, and shower facilities. Ocean City offers an abundance of grocery stores, restaurants nightclubs, and entertainment of all sorts.

Because I stayed two nights I went into town and picked up two 5-gallon fuel cans at Elliott’s Hardware which was about a mile away from the marina. I also stopped and had a Philly Cheesesteak at the Southside Grille & Deli which was really good.
