I have been to Atlantic City twice by sailboat. One at the Atlantic City Anchorage: Rum Point Basin and one to the Farley State Marina. When you get a slip at the marina you receive a free pass and few dollars in credit to gamble at the Golden Nugget Casino & Hotel. Not a bad deal for $2.00 per foot.

The view from the Marina at night is amazing. The water is calm and the neon lights from the Casino and City reflect off the water to make an amazing lightshow.

The amenities were above average and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The refueling docks are located across the entrance to the marina. You can refuel, pump out gray-water tanks, refill fresh-water tanks and pick up a few basics like oil, injector cleaner, snacks, and drinks.

Golden Nugget Casino & Hotel

The Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, New Jersey opened in 1985 as Trump’s Castle, it was renamed Trump Marina in 1997. Landry’s, Inc. purchased the casino from Trump Entertainment Resorts on May 23, 2011.

The resort offers an impressive collection of resort amenities for relaxation and recreation. With a picturesque marina, boutique shopping, a leading-edge fitness center, a full-service spa, and the H20 Pool + Bar Grill, it’s a visit you will remember for a long time.
