Lost Lake Campground – Paonia CO

Lost Lake Campground is a great place to camp although you will need a camping permit.  Because it is so remote it is a great place for hiking, horseback riding, hunting, snowmobiling, and sightseeing. In addition to Lost Lake, Dollar Lake and Lost Lake Slough are within hiking distance.

The campground has 18 available sites. The main campground near the lake has 13 campsites, 4 being pull-through sites, 4 are double sites and two sites are near the lake. These sites have an average spur length of 28’. Additional camping exists on the right-hand road to accommodate horse trailer camping. This area has 5 sites, one is a pull through. The average spur length is 60’. This area also has a picnic area with parking and a large parking area for day hikes and horseback rides on either the Beckwith Pass Trail #842 or Three Lakes Trail #843.
