Bay Bridge Marina Review

I have only visited the Bay Bridge Marina once and had trouble making it in with my 5.5 ft draft. The entrance a bit shallow, the charts say the approach depth is 7 to 8 ft but I bottomed out just after the entrance had been drudged. Also, the approach has a strong cross current so be careful when entering and leaving the marina.

The marina has plenty of transient slips, a fuel dock, and restraint on site. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance for supplies.

We ate dinner at the marina’s restaurant and I gave it a two thumbs up on the meal. If you come for a meal in the restaurant they will give you a free slip while you eat and shop. It did not seem to be over priced like other marinas I have visited.

A very pleasant stop other than getting stuck in the entrance. A very nice motor boat captain tossed me a line and dragged me into the marina which is much deeper.
