Articles of Agreement

Postcards from the Edge is looking for the next great travel blogger.  Like all good Pirate Crews we have Articles of Agreement.  A way of doing business that is surprisingly Democratic.

At the end of each month, the Quartermaster for Postcards from the Edge, will tallied up the ships booty and distribute your share of the spoils.  When the pot is split an even share will go to grow the business, an equal share is set aside for each full-time Blogger and a share is set aside for the Guest Bloggers.

The full-time Bloggers total shares are then put into a pile where it is divided by percentage of work done.  For example; if you produced 10% of the total work from full-time Bloggers you receive 10% of the booty, if you produced 90% of the work then you receive 90% of the booty.

The Guest Bloggers & Reviewers share is distributed by percentage of work you produced.  10% of the Guest Bloggers & Reviewers work will yield you 10% of the Guest Blogger booty.

Regardless of which position would best fit you, some rules apply to all.  All posts must first be approved by the Editor.  Anyone can add a product to the shopping cart after it is approved by an editor.   If you sell an item in the shopping cart and cannot fulfill the order you will be automatically ban from using the shopping cart system.

Post content must be suitable for all audiences.   We do have the Secrets of the Kama Sutra section which is kept to an R rating but that is as far as we go with the sex thing.

Keep your political and religious views to yourself, this is a travel blog.  We have a Astrology section but that is as far as we go with the religion thing.

You must have personal experience with the subject of your post.  Don't write about things you don't know about.
